Applications for grant funds should describe how the project impacts and produces measurable outcomes regarding the prevention of nonpoint source pollution on farms; in particular the proper management of animal waste on livestock operations in the state, and or education/outreach efforts regarding the NJDA Criteria and Standards for Animal Waste Management.
Projects should be regional in scope and focused on education/outreach efforts to livestock operators, regarding the direct implementation of and/or supportive to the successful implementation of the NJDA animal waste regulations.
