Due to concerns about the contraction of E. Coli, after more than 20 people, almost all children, fell ill to the bacterial infection after visiting petting zoos at carnivals in Florida, the New Jersey Department of Agriculture, Division of Animal Health has these recommendations to ensure the safe enjoyment of New Jersey petting zoos and animal exhibits.
