Delaware Valley College Bucks (PA) Doylestown

Delaware Valley College has opportunities on its college farms for students and other people interested in gaining farming experience and learning about farming. Summer-season (i.e., between the semesters) farming opportunities are often available on the horticulture farm, for instance. These jobs offer basic soups to nuts hands-on training for people who want to become farmers. How to do irrigation, planting, using equipment are covered. Each year, the NJAES Extension Farms Paid Undergrad Summer Internship Program places Rutgers and non-Rutgers students at one of three NJAES farms: the Snyder Research & Extension Farm in Pittstown; the Rutgers Agricultural Research & Extension Center (RAREC) in Upper Deerfield; and the Marucci Blueberry and Cranberry Research & Extension Center in Chatsworth.
