The Casino Operations Unit is responsible for assuring that each casino maintains a system of effective control over its gaming operations and is in compliance with the requirements of the New Jersey Casino Control Act and related regulations. The unit reviews each casino's internal control system and procedures relating to its conduct of gaming operations.
The Inspection Unit monitors the day-to-day operations of the casinos to ensure compliance with the Act and the commission's regulations regarding accounting and internal controls, gaming equipment, and rules of the games. Inspectors are in the casinos 24-hours a day, seven days a week. In addition, in conjunction with the Legal Division, the Compliance Division receives and processes patron complaints.
