Purpose: The FFA Statewide Leadership and Administrative Services grant program is an important initiative in developing positive, productive links among public education, business and community organizations and institutions of higher education. In assisting the eligible participants of this program, the NJDOE strengthens its commitment to enhancing student academic achievement and to increasing public involvement and support of education in the state. New Jersey FFA has 36 chapters with 1970 members. The activities and events of career and technical student organizations and their respective local chapters are conducted at the regional, state and national levels annually. The intent of this grant program is to provide leadership and administrative services for the New Jersey FFA career and technical student organization. The goal for this grant program is to develop studentsí potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through FFA activities that are identified in the Program Plan (Appendix A). The grant agreement period for this grant program is July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010.
