Please note that the Division of Purchase and Property has received several protests to the announced award of the contract to replace Staples’ current contract #74337 (M0052 Office Supplies and Equipment). The current contract expires on 7/31/10. Until the Division is able to address and respond to each protest, the State will not have an active contract for Office Supplies to use starting on 8/1/10. This process may take several days to complete.
It is advised that should you have an urgent need to procure office supplies (including copy paper) during this non-contract period, that you either place your PO’s by COB 7/30/10 against the current contract or procure what you need on a limited basis via the Delegated Purchasing Authority (DPA).
