- History and Establishment
- The Mercer County Park Commission has a long history of athletics league play and field rental use for a diverse group of activities.
- The MCPC Softball Leagues were created in 1966 and opened play at Wetzel Field in Trenton. The leagues were moved to Mercer County Park in 1972 when the first two softball fields were built and continue today - marking the 40th year of play for the MCPC Softball Leagues.
- The MCPC Men's Summer Soccer league has been in existence since 1981. All games are played in Mercer County Park. This league is known to be one of the most competitive summer soccer leagues in NJ. The league has seen some of the area's best collegiate players participate through the years and continues to attract the top players in NJ.

Hours of Operation: 7 days per week, 365 days a year, Dawn to dusk on most fields, however basketball courts, baseball fields, tennis courts, and softball fields are lighted.
