TRENTON, N.J.—Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes, the County Division of Culture and Heritage, and members of the Mercer County Board of Chosen Freeholders will honor two groups in a ceremony at the West Windsor Library today, Tuesday, May 19, in celebration Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

Hughes will present proclamations to the Chin Yun Chorus, a renowned traveling singing group that has performed around central New Jersey since 1985, and the South Jersey Chapter of the Association of Indians in America, an association that has advocated on behalf of Asian Indians for more than 30 years.

As part of the ceremony, the Chin Yun Chorus will perform two of its songs in costume. Light refreshments will be served following the event.
