TRENTON, N.J. - Mercer County will host an information session, “Get a Good Night’s Sleep!” that will cover different kinds of sleep disorders, how to identify them, and the effect sleep disorders have on overall health.
The workshop will be Thursday, March 4 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at County Connection, Route 33 at Paxson Avenue in the Acme Shopping Center, Hamilton.
If you are a person who wakes up feeling tired and restless, perhaps a sleep disorder is to blame. Lack of quality sleep creates fatigue, but more importantly, sleep disorders can contribute to health problems such as weight gain, inability to concentrate, high blood pressure, and heart disease. Guest speaker Dr. Rochelle Zozula, Sleep Medicine Specialist at Capital Health, will discuss various sleep disorders and habits, how ones health is affected by these afflictions, and how one can deal with and treat a sleep disorder to live a healthy lifestyle.
