Oct-08-10 Boil water advisory has been lifted for all Municipalities
The water quality results for Ewing Township have been reviewed by the DEP, BSDWI.
Based on this review, the DEP, BSDWI has authorized (10:10 pm) Trenton Water Works to lift the precautionary boil water advisory issued on Monday, October 4, 2010 for Ewing Township.
Trenton Water Works has been informed of this decision and will inform Ewing Township to proceed with the dissemination of the "Lift Notice" pre-approved by this Bureau. The lift notice will be issued via Ewing's telephone notification system (this evening), website posting and updated televison broadcasts on channels 3, 6, and NJN (tomorrow morning).
The lifting of the precautionary boil water advisory for Ewing Township concludes the water use restrictions (Boil Water) imposed on Monday, October 4, 2010 which affected customers in the City of Trenton, Ewing Township, Lawrence Township and portions of Hopewell Township, due to low or no water pressures.
