What:	A press conference to unveil results of a Mercer County Child Health Survey. The Survey, conducted by Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC) under the direction of Children’s Futures, was designed to provide valuable community-based health data about children residing in Mercer County. This survey is the first health and well-being population-based survey conducted specifically about children in the history of any New Jersey County.

Since its creation by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation in 2001, Children’s Futures has been working with partner organizations to improve health and development outcomes for children and families in the Greater Mercer Region.  Recognized by the W. K. Kellogg Foundation as one of the top eight nonprofit programs of its kind in the nation, Children’s Futures brings providers, social service agencies and policy makers together in a single, unified effort to support children and parents.  The Children’s Futures’ collaboration works to prevent many of the issues that otherwise compromise the health and well being of area children.
