LAWRENCE, N.J.-Mercer County Library System announces a new service for patrons that provides thousands of movies, television shows, audio books and music albums, all available for mobile and online access through a new partnership with hoopla.
Mercer County Library System card holders can download the free hoopla digital mobile app on their Android or IOS device, or visit hoopladigital.com to begin enjoying thousands of titles from major Hollywood studios and record labels, available to borrow for instant streaming on their smartphones, tablets, computers and Apple TV.
"We're always exploring new services that satisfy the informational, recreational and cultural needs of our diverse community," said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. By partnering with hoopla, the Library System is able to provide Mercer County Library System patrons with the means to stay connected to the library on the go. Patrons only need their library card to get started, and can access this content via the hoopla digital mobile app or by visiting hoopladigital.com -- free of charge. There is no waiting period for popular titles and the service's automatic-return means no late fees.
