Mercer County’s Constitutional Officers announced the winners of the 2012 elementary school poster contest for the County. The “My County” poster contest, sponsored by the Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey (COANJ) to commemorate Mercer County Government and promote awareness of Mercer County’s attractions, was open to local fourth grade students. The winners for Mercer County are: 1ST Place– Aluen Tomat-Kelly - Lawrence Intermediate School; 2ND Place – Sean Corcoran - Homeschooled in Lawrenceville; 3RD Place – Jacob Stout – Lore Elementary School; 4th Place– Zoe Lang - Lawrence Intermediate School; Honorable Mentions – Alex Micharski, Eric Gutierrez, and Bryan Pullen - all of Mercerville Elementary School. The winning posters will be on display beginning in mid-August at the main Mercer County Library branch located at 2751 Brunswick Pike in Lawrence Township. |
The winners for are:

The winners were presented award certificates at a ceremony held on June 4h at the main Mercer County Library branch in Lawrence Township. The winning posters will be on display beginning in mid-August at the library. The Constitutional Officers Association of New Jersey (COANJ) was organized in 1920 to establish a cooperative effort among County Clerks, County Sheriffs, and County Surrogates to improve services rendered to their respective counties and maintain high standards of these services.
