A regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, in Trenton, New Jersey.

Recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge - Uphold the removal.
ACTION: The Civil Service Commission affirmed the recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge.

Recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge - Modify the removal to a ninety working day suspension.

ACTION: The Civil Service Commission rejected the recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge and upheld the 15 working day suspension.

ACTION: The Civil Service Commission affirmed the recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge.

ACTION: The Civil Service Commission affirmed the recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge.

Recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge - Reverse the removal.
ACTION: The Civil Service Commission rejected the recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge and modified the removal to a six month suspension.

Matthew Vilardo, Laborer 1, Jersey City Public School District, removal effective April 25, 2014, on the charge of conduct unbecoming a public employee.
Recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge - Reverse the removal.
ACTION: The Civil Service Commission affirmed the recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge.

Paul Williams, Truck Driver, Heavy, Township of Lakewood, Department of Public Works, removal effective January 7, 2014, on charges of incompetency, inefficiency or failure to perform duties, inability to perform duties, conduct unbecoming a public employee and other sufficient cause.
Recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge - Reverse the removal.
ACTION: The Civil Service Commission rejected the recommendation of the Administrative Law Judge and modified the removal to a six month suspension and directed that the appellant undergo a psychological examination.

M. W., a Communications Operator, Secured Facilities with the Department of Corrections, appeals the decision of the Assistant Director of the Equal Employment Division of the DOC which determined that it did not substantiate M.W.'s allegation that she had been subjected to a violation of the New Jersey State Policy Prohibiting Discrimination in the Workplace.
ACTION: The Civil Service Commission directed that this appeal be granted in part with respect to the packages sent to E.N. and K.S. and this matter be remanded to the Department of Corrections' Equal Employment Division to conduct an investigation.
