ACTION: The Civil Service Commission adopted the final decision.

B-67 SHANTEL ECHEVARRIA

The appeal of Shantel Echevarria, a County Correction Officer with the Burlington County Jail, of her 10 working day and 60 working day suspensions, on charges, was heard by Chief Administrative Law Judge Laura Sanders (ALJ), who rendered her initial decision on January 29, 2009. At its meeting on March 11, 2009, the Civil Service Commission (Commission) did not adopt the ALJ's recommendation to uphold the 10 working day suspension. Rather, the Commission reversed the 10 working day suspension. However, the Commission adopted the ALJ's recommendation to modify the 60 working day suspension to a 10 working day suspension. The proposed decision is now submitted for the Commission's review.

ACTION: The Civil Service Commission adopted the decision.

Joanne Carter, Michael Commini, and Kai L. Scott appeal the determinations of the Division of Selection Services which found that they did not meet the requirements for the promotional examination for Technical Assistant 3 (PS7781U), Department of the Treasury.

ACTION: The Civil Service Commission directed that these appeals be denied.
