OVERVIEW

The county and municipal Personnel System (CAMPS) allows county and municipal Appointing Authorities to transmit employee information to the Civil Service Commission via a secured link over the Internet. CAMPS provides:

• Faster and improved employee data exchange;
• Direct control of employees transactions; and
• Instant access to employee data and work force reports

Introduced in 2004, CAMPS was designed for Appointing Authorities to electronically enter and send data relevant to personnel appointments and actions. The system greatly reduced time and labor expenditures associated with processing paperwork and forms. CAMPS has established a proven track record of:

• Improved response time on employee personnel transactions;
• Decrease in lost or misplaced paperwork;
