Introduction:

















The NJ Department of Community Affairs’ Main Street New Jersey Program has directly and indirectly provided technical assistance and training to designated MSNJ communities, districts and stakeholders since 1989. Please see the MSNJ website and its 20th Anniversary Report (www.mainstreetnewjersey.com) for a comprehensive history and context of the MSNJ program and its local designees.

Over the past several years, MSNJ has moved to include more services related directly organizational sustainability in the context of declining resources and the economy. By providing Organizational Sustainability Training and Consultations, MSNJ expects to assist a significant number of designated MSNJ programs so that they can cultivate longer-term comprehensive funding and effective organizational practices to enable them to enhance their community’s local economy for years to
come.

Summary:







The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs' Main Street New Jersey Program (“MSNJ”) is seeking qualifications and proposals from well-qualified firms to implement Organizational Sustainability Training and Consultations. These services are needed to meet the demand for local MSNJ organizational sustainability training and support for up to 20 designated MSNJ districts in New Jersey per the State’s ongoing Letters of Agreement with these designated programs/municipalities.
