In meeting its mission, the CHPRD is assisted annually by a cadre
of exceptional professionals who are committed to the empowerment
of New Jersey's Hispanic community. Established in 1989, the Advisory
Committee serves two primary functions. The first is to review all
proposals received by the CHPRD in order to provide funding recommendations
to the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs
and the CHPRD's Director. The second function is to provide guidance
on policy issues to the CHPRD.
Individuals
interested in serving on the Advisory Committee must be a New Jersey
resident.
Members
are appointed by the Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of
Community Affairs. Members are appointed to a two year term and
may serve more than one term. |
