The Office of Regulatory
Affairs
The
Office of Regulatory Affairs is primarily an investigative agency
responsible for investigating allegations of violations of the Uniform
Construction Codes. The Office has the authority to propose
administrative actions which may result in Letters of Warning, Letters
Reprimand, Penalties, Suspensions and/or the revocation of licenses held
by officials entrusted with the responsibility to enforce the Uniform
Construction Code in the local municipalities in the State of New
Jersey. Please contact

The Office of Regulatory Affairs authorizes Private Onsite Inspection and
Plan Review Agencies which contract with local municipalities to enforce
the Uniform Construction Code. For further information please

The Office of Regulatory Affairs tracks and maintains employment
information on the licensed officials in local municipalities throughout
the State of New Jersey. Regulatory Affairs also reviews the local
enforcing agency budgets to assure compliance with the annual reporting
requirements contained within the Uniform Construction Code. Click
