UNIAP is the Unified Application for HMFA multifamily rental housing production programs. It is the one place to go to apply for:

Multifamily Financing Programs
Low Income Housing Tax Credits
Multifamily Preservation Lending Program
Supported Housing and Special Needs Programs

Projects often require funding from more than one of the programs listed above. The UNIAP consolidates the application process across programs, in order to reduce the number of forms you need to fill out.

Before Applying: Review the program information available on this website and the program guidelines within the UNIAP. Please contact the appropriate program staff, particularly if you are seeking Special Needs financing, for pre-application guidance and instructions.

How do I download UNIAP?

Please uninstall any previous UNIAP and read these three steps before proceeding:

1.Click here to download UNIAP Setup. When prompted choose Save to your computer.

2. Double click the downloaded 'UNIAP_Setup' to begin installation. If older files are encountered just select "No to all" to replace them with these newer files. (Note: ''UNIAP_Setup" is used for the initial installation only)

3. After installation, access UNIAP like any other program through Start - Programs - UNIAP.
