Sample Language for Selected Interlocal Activities

This section contains language relating to the provision of interlocal activities in thirteen different categories. The information is based upon actual interlocal services agreements received during the course of the development of A Directory of Interlocal Activities. The names of the municipalities and counties have been replaced with Provider and Recipient in order to preserve their anonymity.

Activity descriptions, conditions and duties and responsibilities covering both the Provider and Recipient are presented for a number of interlocal activities. The wording should not be copied verbatim. It is presented both to make you aware of elements which might be considered as well, as to stimulate discussion. Hopefully, the result will be a more comprehensive interlocal contract.
