Contract and RFP Information
CONTRACT REFORM UPDATE - May 21, 2009 Important Information for Providers As you are aware, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) recently provided you with an update on contract guidelines. These modifications were made to reflect and ensure consistency with efforts we have made internally at the Department to reprioritize expenditures to reduce costs in order to ensure direct service provision to New Jersey’s children and families during the economic downturn. Ultimately, our shared goal must be to protect and provide services to those who need it most. However, we understand that these new guidelines may require providers to conduct additional reviews and to make operational adjustments, and we are cognizant that, as a result of this analysis, there may be issues that need additional consideration. Therefore, please be advised that the mechanism by which to address these issues, is to submit an email to your specific Contract Manager who will in turn present this information through an internal process for review and consideration. Also, you should check this DCF contract website regularly for additional updates. We appreciate your partnership in serving and keeping children safe and families strong here in New Jersey. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Kind Regards, Robert Sabreen DCF partners with community agencies to offer and facilitate a continuum of services to children and families.
