During 2006 and 2007, DCF has made approximately $4.4 million available in grant funds to expand evidence-based home visitation services to families challenged by complex health-related and/or social problems.  This funding is intended to provide young families who are at risk for abuse and neglect with primary prevention and early intervention services with a focus from pregnancy up to age five.
