An attorney with the Public Defender's office since 1990, Chris Rojas is responsible for overseeing the Bergen, Hudson, Passaic, Somerset, Union, and Warren Criminal Trial Regions, as well as the agency's Pool Attorneys.

A licensed attorney since 1983, he worked in the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office and in private practice before becoming a staff attorney in the Union Trial Regional in 1990. He transferred to the Essex Adult Trial Region in 1993 and became First Assistant in the region in 2003 until 2011.

He graduated with a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College in 1980 and received his J.D. from Hofstra School of Law in New York in 1983.
