Linda Biancardi

Ms. Biancardi has been an attorney with the Office of the Public Defender since 1989, beginning as an Assistant Deputy Public Defender in the Bergen Region. She later served as the Deputy in charge of the Sussex Region. She was promoted to supervise the Appellate Section, as Deputy Public Defender in 2000. In 2001 Ms. Biancardi was appointed to the position of Assistant Public Defender, a position which she currently maintains. In that title, she retained her supervision over the statewide Appellate office, as well as overseeing several trial regions, the statewide PCR Unit and assisting Public Defender Segars in executing all necessary aspects of agency function. She graduated from Manhattan College in 1985 with degrees in philosophy and psychology and received her law degree from Seton Hall University Law School in 1988.
