Who is affected?

Anyone who has, or applies for, a preconstruction permit. (Subchapter 8)

Anyone who has, or submits, a general permit registration or used oil space heater registration. (Subchapter 8)

Anyone who renews an operating certificate or a general permit registration. (Subchapter 8)

Anyone who applies for a significant modification to an operating permit. (Subchapter 22)

Anyone who pays an annual emission fee. (Subchapter 22)

What changed?

Increased the following fees, effective January 1, 2010:

All general permit registration and renewal fees

Base and supplementary fees for a new preconstruction permit and for most changes to an existing preconstruction permit

Base and supplementary fees for a significant modification to an operating permit

Fees for general operating permit registrations

An annual emission fee paid by each major facility subject to N.J.A.C. 7:27-22.
