The Department of Environmental Protection (Department) is seeking public comment on a draft State-of-the-Art (SOTA) technical manual for the control of air contaminant emissions from Asphalt Pavement Production Plants. The use of the manual will satisfy the requirements for advances in the art of air pollution control at N.J.A.C. 7:27-8.12 for preconstruction permits and N.J.A.C. 7:27-22.35 for operating permits. The draft State-of-the-Art (SOTA) Technical Manual for Asphalt Pavement Production Plants and a Fact Sheet can be found at the Departments website http://www.nj.gov/dep/aqpp/publicnotices.htm . Comments will be accepted until September 1, 2011.
