The Air Quality permitting program is announcing a new general permit entitled: “GP-009A for Boiler(s) And Indirect Fired Process Heater(s) Each Greater Than or Equal to 10 MMBTU/hr and Less Than 50 MMBTU/hr”. This General Permit is replacing the current General Permit GP-009 entitled “Boiler(s) & Other Indirect Fired External Combustion Equipment [>= 10 MMBTU per hour & < 50 MMBTU per hour].”
The Notice of Opportunity for Public Comment is published in the January 17, 2012 issue of the New Jersey Register. There is a 30 day public comment period. The draft General Permit is available for review at the Department’s website: www.state.nj.us/dep/aqpp. Copies of the draft General Permit may also be requested by contacting:
