The Air Quality permitting program is announcing two new general permits entitled: General Permit (GP-017) for “Boiler(s) and/or Heater(s) Each Less Than 5 million BTU/Hr” and General Permit (GP-018) for “Boiler(s) and/or Heater(s) Each Less Than 10 million BTU/hr ”.  These General Permits have replaced General Permits (GP-006) for “Boilers Less Than 10 million BTU/Hr Combusting Natural Gas, Propane, No. 2 Fuel Oil, Diesel, Kerosene, or A Combination Of these Fuels” and (GP-006A) for “Boilers and Heaters [Individually Less Than 10 MMBTU/HR]”.  These permits are no longer available and cannot be renewed.
GP-017 and GP-018 are available as of April 2, 2009 and can be registered electronically at www.njdeponline.com.
