Stakeholder Comment Opportunity: OTC Fall Meeting for Commissioners to Vote on Model Rule Development
Why is this Important?
New Jersey works with the other Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states through the Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) to develop the plans necessary to meet the ozone health standards. One activity is the development of regionally consistent model rules to reduce ozone from specific source categories. The OTC Fall Meeting is the process by which the state Commissioners are asked to “agree” on the model rules to be developed for the states to consider for adoption.
What Is Occurring?
The Ozone Transport Commission (OTC) Fall Meeting presents an update on the latest information on ozone planning in the region and provides an opportunity for comments from the public. Meeting information including agenda, draft model rules and draft guidance can be found at http://www.otcair.org/document.asp?fview=meeting.
