The Air Quality Permitting Program has drafted two new General Permits (GPs) and two new General Operating Permits (GOPs) for Combined Heat and Power Units, as follows:
1. Combined Heat and Power Stationary Combustion Turbines (CHP) General Permit (GP 021), less than or equal to 65 million BTU/hr, which combust natural gas, propane, kerosene or distillate oil.
2. Combined Heat and Power Stationary Spark Ignition Reciprocating Engines (CHP) General Permit (GP 022), less than or equal to 65 million BTU/hr, which combust natural gas and/or propane.
3. Combined Heat and Power Stationary Combustion Turbines (CHP) General Operating Permit (GOP-005), less than or equal to 65 million BTU/hr, which combust natural gas, propane, kerosene or distillate oil.
4. Combined Heat and Power Stationary Spark Ignition Reciprocating Engines (CHP) General Operating Permit (GOP-006), less than or equal to 65 million BTU/hr, which combust natural gas and/or propane.
