Fine Particle (PM2.5) SIP - Redesignation Request and Maintenance Plan for 1997 Annual 15 ug/m3 and 2006 Daily 35 ug/m3 NAAQS

On July 18, 2012, New Jersey submitted its "Proposed State Implementation Plan (SIP) Revision for the Attainment and Maintenance of the Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) National Ambient Air Quality Standards: Redesignation Request and Maintenance Plan Proposal" to the USEPA. On December 26, 2012, New Jersey submitted its "Final State Implementation Plan (SIP) Revision for the Attainment and Maintenance of the Fine Particulate Matter (PM2.5) National Ambient Air Quality Standards: Redesignation Request and Maintenance Plan" to the USEPA. The purpose of this SIP revision is to request that the USEPA redesignate the New Jersey portions of the Northern New Jersey-New York-Connecticut (NNJ-NY-CT) and the Southern New Jersey-Philadelphia (SNJ-Phila.) PM2.5 nonattainment areas to attainment for the 1997 annual 15 ug/m3 and 2006 daily 35 ug/m3 NAAQS. This SIP revision presents the data and information that the USEPA requires in order to redesignate the areas to attainment.
