Municipal Public Access Plan Template 

Municipal public access plans are required to be adopted into an element of the municipal master plan, typically included in open space or recreation. This provides an opportunity for coordinated comprehensive planning. Environmental and cultural resource protection, economic development, and hazard mitigation, among others, are all important aspects of planning for public access and for the community as a whole, so considering their issues and resolutions together can strengthen the overall benefits.

Municipal Public Access Plan Template
DEP has provided a Municipal Public Access Plan Template as an aid to municipalities who wish to develop a Municipal Public Access Plan. It includes instructions on preparing the information required for a Plan and sample forms.
