On May 7, 2009, Governor Jon Corzine signed the Site Remediation Reform Act, N.J.S.A. 58:10C-1 et seq. [pdf] (“SRRA”) into law and Executive Order #140, implementing the new law. Please be advised that new/proposed Child Care Centers must utilize the services of a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP). Child Care Centers renewing an existing license are not required to hire a LSRP.

To meet the environmental requirements of the Department of Children and Families (DCF) regulations [pdf], you must:

• Certify Safe Drinking Water is Provided
• Obtain a No Further Action Letter
