Not sure about what kind of permits you need?
Complete the Permit Identification Form (PDF), and submit it to the Department in order to find out which regulations apply to you. Someone from the NJDEP will contact you within five (5) business days after the form is received. Submitting the form does not obligate you to obtain any permit.

(Disclaimer) The filing of this Permit Identification Form does not constitute a formal application. Please be advised that any permit determination is based on the information submitted in your Permit Identification Form. The programs administering those permits will make final permit decisions. The information that you will receive in response to completing the Permit Identification Form does not exclude the NJDEP from requiring additional permits, reviews, certificates, approvals, etc., in the future.
