NOTES:
* Waste stream composition analysis performed in 1990. Subsequent
changes to the waste stream (primarily
as a result of increases in reported recycling tonnages)
have not been taken into account, which have affected
the "Total Tons of Solid Waste Generated" and "% of Solid
Waste Material Recycled" numbers for specific
materials listed, though not for the "Totals" at the
bottom of the table. The waste composition study will be
revised for future years to account for this
anomaly.
** For the materials Other Non-ferrous Scrap, White Goods & Sheet
Iron and Asphalt, Concrete & Masonry, it
is assumed that nearly the entire waste stream generated
is recycled.
