Pesticide Application Discharge (PGP)
This general permit authorizes the applications of biological and chemical pesticides in water when such applications are made in, over, or near surface waters of the State.
How long is my current authorization effective?
- Operators that were not required to submit an application (those below the threshold values) are automatically authorized to discharge for the life of the permit, i.e. until the expiration date of the permit or until the permit is revoked and reissued.
- Operators that submitted an application are also authorized to discharge for the life of the permit.
- If the Department does not revoke and reissue the permit, those operators that submitted an application, will be required to submit an application 180 days prior to the expiration date of the general permit if they plan to continue discharging after the expiration date of the permit, consistent with N.J.A.C. 7:14A-4.2.
