Underground Injection Control (UIC

Underground injection systems include a number of different types of subsurface disposal systems (such as septic systems receiving industrial wastewater, subsurface trench systems, dry wells, seepage pits, etc.) that are regulated through a permit to ensure compliance with state performance and treatment standards.
