This awards program was established seven years ago by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to recognize outstanding environmental performance, programs and projects in the state.

Winners of the 2008 Governor’s Environmental Excellence Awards will be invited to an awards ceremony and press event hosted by the Governor in the fall.
