The New Jersey Partnership for Wildlife Volunteerism will host its first annual fundraising gourmet game dinner and auction on October 28th at the Cook College Campus Center in New Brunswick, Middlesex County. Funds generated from the dinner and auction will be used to support the volunteer efforts of the Wildlife Conservation Corps within the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish and Wildlife.

"I'd like to thank the Partnership for Wildlife Volunteerism for its generous support of the Division's Wildlife Conservation Corps. I'd also like to thank the many volunteers who allow the Division to vastly enhance and expand services and programs that benefit wildlife and people. I hope anyone with an interest in New Jersey's wildlife will attend this event and realize the tremendous benefit the Partnership and our volunteers have had upon the fish and wildlife resources of this State," said Division Director Bob McDowell.

"This event is an opportunity for everyone to show their support for the more than 1,800 dedicated wildlife volunteers who need equipment and materials to help them continue to make State programs like Urban Fishing, Eagle Restoration, Hunter Education, Becoming an Outdoors-Woman and so many others a success," said Partnership Chairman Richard Skeuse.

The event will be held from 6-11 p.m. and will feature a cash bar, dinner of wild venison and salmon prepared by the culinary artists of Twin Oaks Catering and both silent and open auctions of fine sporting art, shotguns, collector's knives, furs and more.

Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased by mailing a check or money order made payable to the: Partnership for Wildlife Volunteerism, c/o NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife, Office of Information and Education, P.O.
