The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish & Wildlife announces an important deer check station change in Atlantic County for the 2002-2003 deer seasons. Hunters are reminded that they should check in their deer at the station closest to the harvest location.

The Railroad Deli located at 32 Tuckahoe Road (Route 557) in Dorothy will no longer check in deer. Hunters may instead check their deer at Ted's Taxidermy, 713 Route 40 in Buena; N.E. Hand & Son, 6016 Main Street in Mays Landing; or Sugar Hill Sub & Deli, 153 Somers Point Road (Route 559) also in Mays Landing.
