Deer Check Station Change in Morris County

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announces an important deer check station change in Morris County for the 2003-2004 deer seasons. Hunters are reminded that they should check their deer at the station nearest to where the deer was harvested.

Parsippany Bait, Sport & Tackle, located at 180 Parsippany Road behind the Green Hills Shopping Center will no longer serve as a deer check station. Hunters may instead check their deer at either Bordy’s Outdoors, 177 Columbia Turnpike in Florham Park; Bob Riley Auto Repair, 22 Merry Lane in East Hanover; or at New Vernon Coach & Motor Works, 960 Mt. Kemble Ave. in New Vernon, all of which are open to check deer throughout the entire season.
