The 2007 Fall Turkey Permit Lottery and the 2007 Deer Permit Seasons Lotteries have been completed. Lottery applicants should have already received their award notifications via e-mail or postcard. If an applicant has not received their status notification they can go online to the license sales Web site. Hunters must input their personal information to bring up their file and then select the "Check on the status of a Lottery Application" button which is at the bottom of the screen.

Permits can be claimed via the Internet sales site or by going to any license agent.

Deer Management Zones and Turkey Hunting Areas are not the same. Refer to the 2007 Hunting Digest or Turkey Permit Supplement for details.

Sale of leftover permits begins at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2007, at all license agents and online.

Fall Turkey Season Permits:

The following Turkey Hunting Areas have leftover permits available:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 20.

Turkey Hunting Area 21 sold out in the lottery. Turkey hunters are reminded that there is no fall season in turkey hunting areas 12, 14, 15, 16 or 22. Turkey permits cost $21.00 for each adult permit and $12.00 for each youth permit. Youths are guaranteed their first permit. This means that even if the zone is sold out the youth can still get their permit because they are not included in the permit quotas.
