The Department of Environmental Protection's Division of Fish, Game and Wildlife urges sportsmen and women to note the following corrections to the August issue of the New Jersey Fish and Wildlife Digest.
"It is critical that individuals not only obtain a copy of the hunting digest each year, but that they read through it carefully, noting all changes," said Division Director Bob McDowell. "In this case, they need to take special note of the following corrections to ensure a safe and successful hunting season."
Season Dates for these zones are Dec. 16-18, 1998 and Jan. 9-30, 1999. The bag limit is 5 either-sex deer per permit, one deer per day.
5 either-sex deer per permit, TWO deer per day. Only antlerless deer may be taken from Nov. 23-25 and Dec. 7-12, 1998.
The Great Outdoors

This check station will check deer Tuesday through Saturday of the Six-day Firearm Season only (Dec. 8-12, 1998).King's Bait and Tackle
379 Lakehurst Road, Browns Mills (Burlington County)
This new station will open on Oct. 3 and will be available to check deer during the fall bow and permit bow seasons.
Griffith's Archery has changed its name to Galloway Trading Post
514 E. White Horse Pike, Galloway Township (Atlantic County)
The station will check deer during all six seasons. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 4-9 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.Accurate Archery has changed its name to Buck and Bass
