Map Description:

This map shows a modeling process to prioritizing the agricultural lands for stream buffer restoration in Manasquan watershed. There are four variables applied in the modeling. The first one is the Hydrological Sensitivity Topographic Index which indicates the potential of generating runoff for a particular area during a storm event. The second one is NRCS Soil Erodibility index which is determined by rainfall and runoff intensity, slope length and steepness, k factor and the soil loss tolerance value. The third variable is the Critical Habitats for water dependent threatened and Endangered Species. And the last variable is the impervious surface percentage.
