Map Description:

New Jersey's Fish Index of Biotic Integrity 2005 in cake was created by baking a base sheet cake and then icing it using various decorating tips. The outline of NJ was created by tracing the state outline on parchment paper and then using an exacto knife to cut it out. The resulting 'stencil' was used to mask the outside edges of the state. Sprinkles along with gummy fish round out the layout.
