LOCAL TIRE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FUND GRANTS

PURPOSE OF FUNDING
To properly cleanup abandoned tire pile sites.

SOURCE OF FUNDING
Taxes collected on the sale of new tires.  NOTE: Funding for this program is presently unsecured.  Interested parties should contact the program to verify availability of funds.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE
County and municipal governments.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR CONSIDERATION
Must submit a complete application. Applications are evaluated and awarded competitively on a project need basis.

GRANT LIMITATIONS
There is a $300,000.00 cap per application. The cap may be raised if fewer applications are received than anticipated.

NOTIFICATION DATE
Notices of intent to award or rejection letters will be issued approximately two months after submission of a completed application.
