Provide grants for conducting wastewater management planning activities

Who is Eligible
treatment plantRegional Public Comprehensive Planning Organizations (RPCPOs) and Interstate Organizations created for the purpose of carrying out water quality planning activities

  • Designated water quality management planning agencies
  • Counties
  • Municipalities
  • Other regional or interstate water quality planning agencies

Qualifications Required for Consideration
Applicants must submit a project that meets the administrative requirement, objectives and project criteria as outlined in the 604(b) grant guidelines available for the current  fiscal year.

Grant/Loan Limitations
Limited to eligible costs as defined in the 604(b) grant guidelines.

Review Process
Allocation of funds is dependent on the RPCPO's ability to perform the proposed project, including working with the affected stakeholders, and includes submittal of a Scope of Work with specific tasks, costs and deadlines. Past performance on funded projects will also be considered.
