Appraisals and Appraisers

What is an appraisal?
An appraisal is a professional estimate of the value of property, and for Green Acres that means real property or land and any improvements on the land. Appraisals are necessary before the property can be insured or any kind of loan is issued for its purchase. The appraisal process includes a site visit supplemented by research into and analysis of information and documents to estimate of different valuations for that property.

How are appraisals acquired?
Green Acres maintains a list of approved appraisers to assist in the acquistion of lands either we either purchase directly or help to fund.

NOTE: Approved appraisers MUST inspect the premises

For more information about appraisals related to the Green Acres program, please contact Frank Stearle.
