RECREATION AND OPEN SPACE INVENTORY. As part of an application for Green Acres funding, the local unit is required to complete, and certify to a Recreation and Open Space Inventory (ROSI). The primary purposes of the recreation and open space inventory (ROSI) are documenting all restricted lands and providing notice of the restrictions to title searchers.

STATE HOUSE COMMISSION PRE-APPLICATION PACKAGE. A local unit or nonprofit seeking to dispose of or divert funded or unfunded parkland is encouraged to discuss the proposed disposal or diversion of parkland and related procedural requirements with Green Acres staff, Bureau of Legal Services and Stewardship, prior to submitting a written request for a pre-application meeting.

STATE HOUSE COMMISSION FINAL APPLICATION PACKAGE. The local unit or nonprofit will be notified by staff in the Bureau of Legal Services and Stewardship to submit a complete and final application to the State House Commission. This is applicable only after the completion of the pre-application.
